'69 Plymouth Road Runner

George's Road Runner
Jim Thorpe
This car has the standard 1969 engine which was a 383 built specifically
for the Road Runner, with heads, intake, cam, and exhaust manifolds from
the 440 Super Commando; which made it the fastest 383 ever, with 335 (gross)
horsepower. A four-speed stick was also standard. This car has 355 gears
and bucket seats.
The Road Runner came with few frills and was not fragile, it was built for
serious street work. The Road Runner was reportedly a favorite of moonshiners,
faster than almost any police car and tough enough to take practically any
bump. This car is all stock and runs great!
The car features decals based on the cartoon, it even has a horn that goes
Beep Beep! The steering wheel has a little Road Runner on it and the air
cleaner has a cartoon with the logo "Coyote Duster."
Future plans include new paint (original B5 blue) and new interior!
